Evidently there is the official countdown to Armageddon. It’s our understanding that this is not based on any biblical text to our knowledge but rather a Myan calender.
The termination date appears to be set for December 21, 2012.
Is there any Bilbical text that supports this date? Please voice your thoughts.

Those who read their bible and try their best to understand all that they are reading, understand that there is no way to know when the Lord is coming back…we are to be ready for him when He decides that the time is right to come back and take us home. We are not supposed to try to figure out when…just know that He will come to take us home. December 12, 2012 is just another date in time. Our Savior is the only one who knows…hopefully, I pray that more will become saved and be ready for his coming. If you have questions…read the Bible.

Whether you believe or not God exist. Jesus Christ is coming back soon. But no man know the time or the hour he will come back. predict of the time is just a mere human assumption which it is not in God calendar. Pray and watch!

I think you can know the year, but not the day and hour, which no man knows not even Jesus, but only the Father. There is a man who predicts the year of Jesus return in a book called Prophecy Code, This man’s name I think is Manty, and I heard somewhere that he has written a sequel called Prophecy Code II which is coming out in late September, Anyways he claims to have decoded the encoded number 2,520 from Daniel’s seventy ‘sevens.’
His theory says that 2,520 days is also an encryption for years of Israel’s punishment.
He proves that the 2,520 years span across “The Time Of The Gentiles,” and bridges three key years from Israel’s past to three key years into her future. The fourth and final year he says could just possibly be the year of our Lord’s return. He claims that this last set of 2,520 years begins in 445 BC, and ends in 2032.

Wow amazingly Jesus will come and take all His Children to heaven. As the Bible Says like as He assended to heaven will be back. Brothers don’t be full be ware and ready to live with Lord Jesus. All the Biblical prophesis are completed except some of them so we have to be careful and watch our Lord Jesus Christ. God is there and still He the one who manage the world. Becareful Come to Christ and be close with Him. you will get peace and joy and eternal life.

I wish people would really read the bible and open their eyes and heart to
God. The bible clearly states not even the angels in heaven know the date and time of
Jesus Christ return but you seem to have some connection in heaven to make a prediction
of December 21, 2012? What is wrong with you people? For those that are weak you are going to have
people running around doing crazy things because of your uncalculated prediction. I feel sorry for those that actually believe this non-sense and will pray that God wakes you up before it is too late. For those that say there is no God and do not believe I will pray for as well. But I will say I would rather die believing
in Jesus than to die and not believe. The devil has a lot a people fooled and I pray for your

I died for 15 seconds and I wasent saved. I was scared out of my mind. I was going through this blackness as black as black could be. I was terrified so much and I coulnt stand it. At that point I would have given anything to come back and not go to hell. Thank God my mom woke up praying that night for me and I got back into my body. After my Spirt body got back into my flesh I Imediatly accepted Jesus as my personal savior by confessing with my mouth Jesus is Lord and believing in my heart that God has raised him from the dead and at that moment Gods Holy Spirit came into my body and I felt his Holy presence. Do this and I will see you in heaven my friends:)

If one truly believes in God, Creator of the universe, you will stop counting the Mayan clock and quoting Nostradamus or who whatever witch craft you choose. In Revelation it states that NO one knows the time of Christ’s return, not even Christ himself. And it also states that the antiChrist can not come on the scene untill God says so. The Bible makes it perfectly clear that NO MAN knows the day or the hour of the return of the Lord, but we will know when the time is near by the signs. The signs are definetly here and I believe we are close. For one, Israel was in exile for over 2500 years, she had to become a nation again in order for the last days to come. In May 1948, she was reborn and recaptured Jeruselem in 1967 in the 6 day war. Since then, everything has been coming to pass just like Jesus said it would. We now have Obama who sure the heck is not a Christian. Don’t judge you say, well the Bible says that a spiritual man is to make judgement of all things, but he himself is not under any mans judgement! Is Obama the Antichrist? I beleive he may very well be, he certainly fits the bill! He and Tony Blair are up to something, watch and be aware of both of them!!!

Wow john geo, let me get this right, you don’t believe in Jesus, but you believe in the antichrist? If the antichrist is real, which he is by the way, then Christ Himself has to be real, which He is by the way! As far as Adam and Eve having two sons and you have a hard time with no females to multiply with, if you read 1 and 2 Chronicles, it gives you a rundown of many generations, The Bible was inspired by God for different authors to write specific things at different times throughout history. As far as not seeing God, the Bible says that we must believe by faith and not by sight! It is impossible to please God without faith! We can only speak to him through his son Jesus, He is the only way! And another thing, you claim to be an athiest, but yet you said that God is selfish. If there is no God as you claim, how can God be selfish? If He is selfish, then He has to exist!! Also, God hides His face to those who don’t believe in Him! And if you don’t understand His word, then you don’t have a fear of Him. The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of understanding. You are a fool if you don’t believe on the One who came and died on a wooden cross for you. You are the reason He came and died, He died for sinners and non believers.

there is no mention in the bible of the rapture and when it will happen, i believe that it will happen very soon,there is however the mention of the second coming of christ, which only our father in heaven knows. as for obama being the anti christ, could be but i beleive the rapture will happen before anyone in christ, will know who the ant christ is.

I do believe we are living in the end of days too. I agree Obama is the anti-Christ and so are other evil dictators of the world. With government little by little trying to control our lives. US government trying to take over health care is a mark of the beast, in my opinion. My freedom comes from God no matter what happens and they can’t take that away from me. Without Jesus I don’t know where I would be.

Revelation Chapter 13:5 states, “And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given to it, and authority to act forty-two months was given it.” 42 months equals about 3.5 years, Obama was president since the end of 2008, and January 09. 3.5 years after the end of 2008 is the end of 2012 and only just a little in the beginning of 2013. Regarding the 21st Decemeber 2012, during the end of the particular year, this scripture has go something linked together.

When Israel becomes a nation surely this generation will not pass away. A generation 3 score and 10 equals 70 years. 1948+70 years=2018 We are 62 years into the generation that will see the coming of Christ. If you read ( and understand ) your bible, ( and have half a brain ) you know that he will raise, and stand in the Holy city, proclaiming to be God. He will bring fire down from heaven in the sight of man. (Rev 13:13) in other words, he will be SUPERNATURAL, The book of Daniel tells all about ” him “. He will rise from Europe ( i feel the E.U. is the revised ” Roman Empire” and I bet most of you don't know that they have the ” whore of Babylon ” painted on the ceiling in their Parliment building in Brussels, Belgium do you?), and will come in peacefully , and make a 7 year Treaty, that will be broken 3 and a half years in to it . There are many examples on listed in the bible, if you would just take the time to READ IT!! for yourself. If you ask me this world is ” ripe for the harvest ” in the sense that with current political, financial, economic, and religious situation, people would cling to a ” savior ” in 2 heartbeats. There are alot of things people need to know about this time, but are oblivious, I personally see it unfold ( like the book says ). I have never read the entire Bible, but any christian will tell you that no person knows when the End will come, only God himself knows. And if your a true christian and you believe that Jesus Christ is your personal savior you dont need to worry about the End because you wont be here to deal with all the chaos. So who cares when it will all end Because I for one will be watching it from the best seat in the house (in Heaven)
